Re: People getting pulled for using kids tickets in BML last night
My cousin had an OAP season ticket (not at West Ham) when he was in his 20's, so had his Dad and he was in his 40's at the time.

Both had used the same birth certificate to get them as well.

You've missed the point. It's people who would otherwise be buying at matchday prices that are going in on the kid's tickets. Why would STH be doing it?

Re: People getting pulled for using kids tickets in BML last night
I have 1 adult and 2 kids and upgrade kids to adult each week and I honestly think they make up the upgrade fee.

I phoned for palace game and they said £36 I then said I would phone back as wanted to check price ok for my mate when I called back it was £41??? so I did this 3 times and cheapest was £40

that's been there years Branded

I've just not seen it enforced in the BML before

Re: People getting pulled for using kids tickets in BML last night
I think that the stewards were too busy watching out for people coming in on kids tickets to notice that loads of people were jibbing in!

Re: People getting pulled for using kids tickets in BML last night
how on earth are the club ripping people off? People have a choice on whether they buy a ST at the prices charged.

I can't actually remember exactly what I paid this year, I think it was something like £640 or £33.68 a game which personally I think is a fair price for a ST in the BML this season. It's far from being a rip off.

£95 for a Cat A Band 1 match day ticket is however a rip off.

David Gold has confessed he used to bunk in:

He was only seven, though

I've upgraded my sons young adult ST to Adult for the last two games.

On both occasions the fucking card hasn't worked at all. Trip to the ticket office for them to confirm its been paid for, so fuck know why it no longer works. Got issued a paper ticket last night.

Re: People getting pulled for using kids tickets in BML last night
When prices were very cheap people still bunked in or had duplicate season tickets......

Re: People getting pulled for using kids tickets in BML last night
Exactly Buster. If prices were fair and reasonable, people would have no need to try it on.

'Why try and rip-off your club ?'

Maybe people do it because the club are ripping people off with the increased prices this season?

Why try and rip-off your club ?

I could have got a season ticket in my brothers name who is 7 years older but no way would I.

Believe it's one warning then season ticket revoked and banned currently

May get rid of the warning but doubt it

It'll definitely happen much more next season, and punishments will be more severe too.

Hopefully they'll confiscate the tight bastards tickets!

Still get a bit of tailgating in the BML.

Eggbert Nobacon 2:35 Thu Apr 14
Re: People getting pulled for using kids tickets in BML last night
I think we'll see a crackdown on it next year, the club aren't silly and know some will try it on with the 99 quid tickets

others (wonder who) disagree and think the stewards won't care

straightuplazy 2:33 Thu Apr 14
Re: People getting pulled for using kids tickets in BML last night
We will be particularly concerned with profit next season so this will definitely be happening more often.

Buster 2:33 Thu Apr 14
Re: People getting pulled for using kids tickets in BML last night
You get a lot more stewards behind turnstiles for evening games because they know that a lot of kids won't be going. There were loads for Spurs and last night.
